Grapevine (Gene E. – 277-9730): The books Best of Grapevine are now on CD-ROM that are readable via your computer. There are other items also available on CD. GSO continues to expand the envelope on making AA material available in all forms. 

CPC (Chester P. – 239-9391): Am deeply involved in sending inquiries to all area doctors. Next in the process will be the area lawyers and judges. 

Corrections (Doug T. – 337-8451): The meetings at SWICC continue to go very well. The inmates genuinely appreciate AA hosting meetings at the prison. Doug has begun presenting birthday coins to the inmates upon reaching a milestone. 

Answering Service (James H. – 271-8037): All is going well at this time. The service continues to fill a need in the community. 

Corned Beef & Cabbage in 2005: The CB&C will not be held on 12 Mar 2005. A conflict exists for the date. The district is exploring the possibility of holding the dinner on 19 Mar 2005. More later…… 

Where & When’s: Arrangements are being made to print a minimum of 3500 copies. These will contain meetings for Districts 4, 7, 14 & 18. There will be a map (hopefully readable) showing the location of the districts in Southern Area 21 as a guide. A new and revised meeting codes page will be included. Also, district hotline numbers to include some district internet url’s will be included. 

Alkathon 2005: Steve (Hobble) H. is going to check into a smoking tent for the event. Donations will hopefully cover the cost. 

There is a new meeting in Swansea at the CKL & I on Friday at 7:30 pm. It is called Swansea Beginner’s Group as of this writing and is Open and Smoking. The address is: 2800 North Illinois St, Swansea IL.

The New Day Recovery Club’s 13^th Anniversary Dinner & Dance will be held at the Clyde C. Jordan Senior Citizen Bldg on Saturday, 18 Sep 2004. There is a suggested donation of $20.00 for the entire affair. The address is: 6800 State Street, East St Louis IL.
