Ethereal T. (233-7104) is the new GSR for the East St Louis Group and Answering Svc chairman for District 14.
The Fairview Heights Group will be closed (no meeting) on 17 Jan 2005 as the Caseyville Township Hall will be closed.
The 2005 Alkathon is tentatively scheduled to be held once again at the Cathedral Grade School. The treasurer is authorized to make a deposit to secure the site.
There is once again a midnight meeting at the O’Fallon Trailer Group on Saturday. It will be an open, discussion and no smoking meeting.
The 2004 Alkathon Wrap-up: Generally went very well. Some minor confusion over meeting times. Attendance on some nights was a little low, but the weather may have had something to do with it. Much thanks to the folks from the ESL Group and assistants for their cleanup efforts.
The meetings at the St Clair County Jail are going very well. There is always a need for more women volunteers. If you might be interested in this area of service work, call Sue S. (398-3648).
Corrections (Doug T. - 337-8451): Everything continues to go very well. Doug is always looking for more volunteers. If you feel you can do this, please give Doug a call.
Grapevine (Gene E. - 277-9730): Nine subscriptions were given away during the course of the Alkathon. An excellent way to get people into the “Meeting in Print”.
Treatment Facilities (Udell G. - 332-2414): Having trouble keeping the literature in place at Gateway; it has a tendency to disappear. Otherwise, everything else is going fairly well.
Website Committee (Rich M. - 398-2334 and Gene E. 277-9730): The domain has been acquired. Within the next two to three weeks, expect the site to be fully operational. The new url for the site will be: http://www.aa-district14.org/
