Website Committee (Rich M. 398-2334 and Gene E. - 277-9730): The task of scanning hardcopies into the system with OCR software has completed for the time being. If you have any old Booze News (prior to 1999), please give Gene a call.
Corrections (Doug T. 337-8451): The inmates at SWICC really appreciate the literature. Everyone at the prison appreciates the fact that AA is there. Meetings have doubled in size to the point that if they get any larger, another room will have to be found to meet. If you are interested in Corrections work, please give Doug a call.
PI (Chuck G. 337-5327): Provided will a listing of all the places Dist 14 maintains literature racks. Also, a couple of addresses had changed for these. Chuck will get these filled up.
Grapevine (Gene E. 277-9730): You can order 50 back issues of the Grapevine for $26 (postage included); these are great for Treatment and Corrections. There are some really great CDs and Tapes reasonably priced. Visit the site at: http://www.aagrapevine.org/
Answering Svc (Ethereal T. 233-7104): After still further research, Domyan said they did not have a phone list BUT people in fact were being called. How??? No answer to that question. Ethereal provided a phone list to Domyan and brought a copy to the meeting. This was passed around for everyone to update. No written contract exists between the district and Domyan. Ethereal will work on getting this done. Also, he will check on an 1-800 number. More news in June.
