The Shiloh Coffee Pot Group will be CLOSED on 25 Dec 2005 and 1 Jan 2006 in observance of Christmas and New Year’s.

There is a new Young Adult Group meeting at the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Room 106.  It will meet on Friday evenings at 7 pm for a 1 hour meeting.  This meeting will begin 18 Nov 2005.

The Wades Square Group now meets at Union United Methodist Church located at 721 East Main St in Belleville.  Please drive around back and up the hill to park.  Enter through the double doors.

Election of Trusted Servants for District 14 for 2006 & 2007.  Their terms of office begin on 1 Jan 2006.

DCM:  Paula E. (236-1663)

Alt DCM:  Harold F. (357-3928)

Secretary:  Jan A. (346-8259)

Treasurer:  Richard B. (397-8764)

Sherri L. (398-0349) is the new GSR for the Wades Square Group and she is also the new CPC Chairwoman for Dist 14.

Tom D. (282-1973) is the PI Chairman for Dist 14.

Answering Svc (Ethereal T. – 233-7104):  The original proposal of having people who desire information on meeting locations would call a 1-800 service and then would be given a meeting location from a current Where & When has been seriously deviated from.  There was much discussion.  The revised proposal is for the 1-800 service to have a list of only 8 names (1-2 per city) and these people would be the coordinator for their city and would have a list of names to fall back upon.  This would be a 24/7 thing for each city coordinator.  More discussion ensued.  Ethereal is going to contact the Area 21 Coordinator (Todd S.) and have him email the entire proposal to him.  Todd may be asked to come to the next Dist 14 meeting and explain the proposal to the trusted servants.  More later….I am sure…!!!!

Corrections (Doug T. – 337-8451):  Still and always looking for more volunteers.  You attend one meeting with a gate pass to see what goes on inside the walls.  Attendance is good at the meetings and the inmates are enthusiastic about the meetings.  Outstanding way to do service work.  Call Doug for more info.

The Cathedral Grade School has been reserved for the 2006 Corned Beef & Cabbage.  The date is scheduled for 18 March 2006.  More later….

The usage of the Cathedral Grade School facilities is going to change.  A preschool facility has relocated to the auditorium and this room has become a “do not disturb” under any circumstances room.  NO USE BY ANYONE!!!  It was decided at the GSR Meeting that the cafeteria will be cleared to allow a dance to be held immediately following dinner.  This will be the same for the Corned Beef & Cabbage.

The New Day Recovery Club would like to thank everyone for helping to celebrate the 25th year of sobriety for Charlie T. at the Clyde C. Jordan Center.  It was celebrated with many friends of the Fellowship of AA.  Again, our thanks to all.
