District 14 met on 21 May in Belleville IL at the 623 Club with Dr Bobs West Group hosting. There were 11+ GSRs and guests in attendance. The 11 June meeting is canceled. The next GSR meeting will be held on 9 July at the 623 Club but will be hosted by Dr. Bobs Group. The time for all GSR Meetings remains the same at 1 pm. See you there

METRO EAST MOBILE
12 STEPPERS
Our Mission: The Metro East Mobile 12 Steppers will bring meetings to established members of AA who are physically unable to attend meetings. We will have a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous for those members who are:
Recovering from surgery or treatment
Mothers before and after child birth
Senior members in care facilities or in their homes
Members in hospitals.
The Metro East 12 Steppers will make all the necessary arrangements for a discussion meeting where and when needed. Our membership consists of both men and women who are active in AA.
Incapacitated and homebound AA members who would like a meeting brought to their place of residence may contact Tim P. at 618-792-3344 , Cheryl P. at 618-588-3220 or John T. at 618 -604- 8742.
If you would like to volunteer to be a 12 stepper along with us please contact Tim, Cheryl or John at the above numbers. We need both women and men who are active in Alcoholics Anonymous.
If you know of an AA member who would like a meeting brought to them please let us know.

NOTES FROM THE MEETING:
Gene Y. (618-540-4182) is the new Alt GSR for the East St Louis 12x12 Group.
The Collinsville Honesty Group has moved from District 14 to District 18. This change will be reflected in the upcoming new Where & When.
There is a new meeting at the 623 Group on Thursday at 7 pm. It is a Womens ONLY Meeting. It is closed, discussion and smoking.
A Central Services Office to serve the Metro East is located at 409 Broadway Office C-1, South Roxana IL 62048. The days and hours of operation are: Mon Sat 11 am to 7 pm. The phone number is (618) 251-4000. It is now open for usage.
Answering Svc (Ethereal T. 233-7104): ): A new answering service list will be made. Otherwise, everything is going very well.
2007 Corned Beef & Cabbage is tentatively scheduled for 17 March 2007. Sherry L. will be the chairwoman for the event. More later

Corrections (Doug T. 337-8451): Going very well. Don F. has gotten a Monday night meeting started at the correction facility and it is doing quite well.
Treatment Facilities: (Udell G. 332-2414): An individual is needed to chair the Sunday night meeting at 7 pm. Otherwise, everything is going pretty good.
Where & When (Gene E. 277-9730): The draft of the new Where & When was passed around the meeting and corrections were made. This will be published in the near future

District 19 will be hosting the Southern Illinois Area 21 Assembly on 11 Jun 2006 at the Route 66 Hotel & Conference Center on 625 East St Joseph St in Springfield IL. Registration is $5 and the buffet lunch is $10. For more info, call Dick B. (217-415-9333).
The District 5 Campout will be on 23-25 June 2006 at Valley View Campground at 2300 Bonansinsa Drive in Quincy IL.
