There is a new meeting in TrentonDetails to be revealed later….

The Fairview Heights meeting will be closed on 16 Jan 2006 as the Caseyville Township Hall will be closed that day.

Answering Svc (Ethereal T. – 233-7104):  District 14 has joined District 18 in the usage of a 1-800 number for the Answering Service.  The cost will be split between the two districts.  The number will be:  1-800-307-6600.  The old Answering Service number 239-0408 will no longer work.  The two week adjustment period is over.  District 18 has had an outstanding response since switching their service about three months ago.

Grapevine (Gene E. – 277-9730):  9 subscriptions to the Grapevine were given out at the 2005 Alkathon.  Absolutely fantastic!!!!

Corrections (Doug T. – 337-8451):  Going very well.  More people are going through the certification process and they no longer have to go to Centralia for urinalysis; it can now be done at the prison.  In this area of service work, there are never “too many” volunteers.  Call Doug if you feel you can do this vital area of service work.

The Cathedral Grade School has been reserved for the 2006 Corned Beef & Cabbage.  The date is scheduled for 18 March 2006.  Tracy H. (588-3280) is the chairperson with Richard B. as the lead assistant.  Sherri L. is going to check on food prices.  Johnnie S. will be cooking.  District 14 Alanon’s will be asked to assist also.  More in February…..

The usage of the Cathedral Grade School facilities is going to change.  A preschool facility has relocated to the auditorium and this room has become a “do not disturb” under any circumstances room.  NO USE BY ANYONE!!!  It was decided at the GSR Meeting that the cafeteria will be cleared to allow a dance to be held immediately following dinner.
