met on 12 Oct 2008 at The Solution Group in Belleville. There were 12 GSRs and guests in
attendance. The 9 Nov 2008 meeting will
also be hosted by The Solution Group.
The 14 Dec 2008 meeting will be hosted by the Cahokia Serenity
Group. The time for all GSR Meetings
remains the same at 1 pm. See you

NOTES FROM THE MEETING:
A new
meeting for WOMEN ONLY is on Wednesday
at 7 pm at the 212 Club in Sparta. This will be placed in the next
edition of the W&W plus it will be on the website.
A new
meeting at the Sparta 212
Club is a G.O.D.
Group via the Big Book on Thursday
at 11 am.
Corrections (Doug T.
337-8451): Doug said things are looking
very good. The prisoners really
appreciate the meetings and the old Grapevines. Looking at getting one more person cleared.
Website (Rich M. 398-2334): The website is up and running. BN archives do need work on them.
Bridging the Gap (Sherri L.
618-604-3981): Very little
happening in this area as Federal, State & Local funds have been cut or
eliminated for this area.
Central Service Office (Lee W. 654-9245): Still trying to get the phone
system working exactly like the CSO folks want it to be.
Where & Whens (Gene E.
228-9108): With closing of the Drydock
Club in Centralia and the Schlemmer Bldg in Edwardsville, a lot of changes will
be made to the W&W. The 2116 Club
has also closed but meetings are still being held and have not changed their
times. However, the place will only be
open 30 minutes before a meeting and 30 minutes after a meeting. It is not a place to go and hang out
anymore.

Mens AA Breakfast will be held 9
Nov 2008 at the Ramada Inn in Fairview Heights. The cost is $15.00. The
