Central Service Office (Lee W. – 654-9245):  Going fine.  Any phone numbers from volunteers and/or monetary donations that can be made, give Lee a call.

Corrections (Doug T. – 337-8451):  All is going fine.  Attendance is up.  Word gets around that there is genuine recovery there.  One more person has been approved & the final steps are being processed.  Literature is appreciated.  I am attempting to get permission to take CD’s & DVD’s into the prison.  VHS movies are okay.  Don F. took the movie “My Name is Bill W.” & it was very well received.

CPC (Mike F. – 622-6592):  No report

PI/Literature (Tom D. - 282-1973):  No Report

Treatment Facilities (Donella C. – 234-2283):  No Report

Grapevine (Gene E. – 228-9108):  14 Grapevine subscriptions were given out at the Alkathon.  All have been mailed as of this writing.

Website (Rich M. – 398-2334):  No Report

Alkathon 2008 Final:  Made it through it!!!  Probably had more technical problems than anything else.  A coffee pot & igloo cooler died.  Connie has been given permission to replace the coffee pot.  One hot water faucet was a major problem but this was eventually worked out.  It was noticed that many small groups do not participate as the cost is so high of supporting a night; it might be possible to support only a single meal; i.e., lunch, breakfast, etc.  Maybe combining with several groups to support a day.  Tinsel as a decoration or whatever is now banned at any future Alkathon.  Not sure of the reason.  The final cleanup went absolutely great.  Enough people showed up to ensure that everyone got out of the facility in record time.  ESL is to be especially thanked as they had lots of people to help cleanup.

Corned Beef & Cabbage 2009 (Connie S., Judy M. & Paula E. are all co-chairs) – No date has been set yet but it will either be the 7th or 14th of March 2009.  Deposit has been made to secure the hall even though a date is not yet known.  Dist 14 will try to get the band Sullivan Drive.  More later…..
