Corrections: Chuck D. & Ed H. – There are 3 meetings a week (M,W,F @ 7-8:30 p.m.). Literature is needed (12×12 & Daily Reflections). Used Grapevines are always appreciated. Attended a reentry summit that focused on 250 inmates who will be released in 2017. Great personal satisfaction in the success stories of former inmates.
CPC: Dave S. – Delivered student info packets to 3 open meetings. Supplied AA literature to Annual 12 Step Retreat at Kings House Retreat & Renewal Center. Provided info packets to TASC. PI/LIT: Ed N. – A couple of info racks will be restocked soon. Also, there will be an info rack at the Alkathon.
Special Events: Sam A. – All days for the Alkathon are filled except for 24 & 25 Dec 16. Again as in past years, the District will possibly do those days. There will be a memorial on 30 Dec 16 to those members we lost in 2016. All supplies that are on hand will be inventoried and there is a brickload of decorations. The inventory will allow the committee to determine what needed to be purchased. The need to find a safe and secure storage place for the districts supplies and decorations needs to be addressed.
Treatment Facilities: Diane H. – To date, no one has volunteered to take on the chair position. If no one does, I will be happy to continue.
Website: Teresa K. – If you have a flyer on an AA function and want it posted on the District 14 Website, please send it immediately to Teresa at: District14Live@gmail.com
Hits on the website have increased tremendously in just a few months. Website revision continues & will be ready for rollout in early 2017. The conference in North Carolina was super informative. Most districts have technology committees — lots of great interaction and ideas generated; i.e., there is a great potential in this area.
There is a website you can go to for more technology info: email@example.com
You must request entry and must state your credentials/position of what you do. This info will be reviewed and your request will be approved and/or denied.
