District 14 met on 13 Nov 2016 at the 623 Club and hosted by 623 Group. There were 30 attendees. The 11 Dec 2016 GSR Meeting will be held at the O’Fallon Trailer Group. The time of the meeting(s) remains 1 p.m. Hope to see you there.
As we promised in the Feb 2016 BN, we will publish in each issue of the BN a list of the groups/people donating to the District. Here are the donations received from 14 Aug 2016 to the present:

NOTES FROM THE MEETING:
Elections for the Trusted Servants of Dist 14 (DCM, Alt DCM, Secretary & Treasurer) took place at the 13 Nov 2016 district meeting. The Results: DCM – Lee Wellen, Alt DCM – Nichole Sutherland, Secretary – Samantha Allen and Treasurer – Felicia Wilson. Congrats to each!!!!
As of 15 Nov 2016 (Tuesday), there will be a new meeting in Caseyville at the Generation Church at 7517 North Illinois St. It is called “Blue Collar Sobriety Group”. It is a Men Only meeting with a speaker and then discussion. The meeting is from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Booze News and Where & When’s: Gene E. – BN is doing great. The 1st draft of the W&W for the 2017 edition was passed around at the GSR Meeting for the Trusted Servants to review. The 2nd and final review will be accomplished at the Dec GSR Meeting.
Bridging the Gap: Chris B.: Not present
Camel Walk: Ryan B. – Four people have not gotten their Camel Walk shirts.
Corrections: Chuck D. & Ed H. – Nothing to report.
CPC: Dave S. – Continue to target Healthcare and Counseling professionals. An additional 29 folders to ~57 healthcare professionals and staff were distributed. Sent 16 packets to 30 counseling professionals.

Dispensed packets to Caritas, Chestnut and others.
The goal is to continue to expand the circle of contacts to all types of healthcare professionals.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
The 36th Annual Winter Holiday will be held 17-20 Nov 2016 at the Big Spring Lodge in Neosho MO. Early registration costs $18 and at the door it will be $20. For more info, call Dean S. at 417.439.4880 or Jim M. at 316.206.3879 or Jeff R. 785.213.3968.
The SIA 21 Winter Assembly will be held 11 Dec 2016 in Champaign IL & hosted by Dist 12. It will be held at the Urbana Civic Center at 108 Water St in Urbana IL. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Cost is $5.00….Lunch is $10.00. For more info, contact Michael G. (217.443.2642) or Antonia D. (504.655.0892).
The annual District 14 Alkathon will be held 24 Dec 2016 to 1 Jan 2017. Groups and the dates they will support will be finalized at the 11 Dec 2016 GSR Meeting. There are still days open. Flyers are being prepared. More next month…….
The annual Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner will be held on 11 Mar 2017.
The SIA 21 Spring Assembly will be held 12 Mar 2017 in Belleville IL at the Cathedral Grade School at 200 South 2nd St (park in rear) & hosted by Dist 14. The first committee meeting was held and the catering was decided upon and the flyers were developed. The location has already been secured.
