Cheryl M is the new GSR for the How It Works Group.
The district is going to research the cost of getting a storage unit. This has been checked into previously but was not found necessary at the time. Recommendations will be made to the Trusted Servants for their action.
The district is also going to pursue acquiring tax-exempt status as a not-for-profit entity. There is more than one category of this & some research will be conducted before a recommendation is made to the Trusted Servants for action. This would preclude the paying of sales tax and some reports would have to be provided.
Committee Reports:

Rule 62 Corner:
Rule 874: To see how our own erratic emotions victimized us often took a long time. Courtesy of the 12×12, pg 47
Rule 875: So it is that we first see humility as a necessity. But this is the barest beginning. To get completely away from our aversion to the idea of being humble, to gain a vision of humility as the avenue to true freedom of the human spirit, to be willing to work for humility as something to be desired for itself, takes most of us a long, long time. Courtesy of the 12×12, pgs 72-73
Rule 876: When we work well at this program, when we are faithful to it, we do grow. We see this truth in one another’s lives. Courtesy of the Touchstones Daily Meditations for Men, reading for 29 October
Rule 877: Humility is having ourselves in perspective, knowing we are connected to the whole world, accepting how small and powerless we are, and accepting the power and responsibility we have. Courtesy of the Touchstones Daily Meditations for Men, reading for 10 Nov
Rule 878: ….a spiritual awakening….as it does go on, we find that bit by bit we can discard the old life — the one that did not work — for a new life that can and does work under any circumstances whatever. Courtesy of The Grapevine, Dec 1957
Rule 879: This program did not invent the spiritual outlook. It only tells us recovery will come through awakening of the spiritual within us. Courtesy of the Touchstones Daily Meditations for Men, reading for 20 Nov
Rule 880: Our task for this day is to be honest with ourselves, to be respectful to others, and to stay open to our Higher Power. Courtesy of the Touchstones Daily Meditations for Men, reading for 25 Nov
Rule 881: Ultimately, it is when we have ourselves and our integrity that we are on the recovery path. It is our faith that keeps us there regardless of the setbacks and personal moments of darkness we each must meet. Courtesy of the Touchstones Daily Meditations for Men, reading for 15 Dec
Rule 882: The greatest benefits of the program for many of us have been recovery from loneliness and the genuine relationships we have developed. Courtesy of the Touchstones Daily Meditations for Men, reading for 23 Dec
